The first premium live event of WWE's new year takes place Saturday with Backlash. Even thoughWrestleMania just took place three weeks ago, matches have quickly formed and heat has been built for the night in St. Louis. Five matches are scheduled, highlighted by therenewed rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton. The two wrestling greats have had several bouts throughout their careers, and in Orton's hometown, they meet for likely the final time with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. Other action includes matches with both Intercontinental titles and the United States Championship up for grabs, and Pat McAfee makes his return to the ring. Here's what to know for the 2025 Backlash: Backlash is Saturday, May 10, 2025. Backlash 2025 starts at 7 p.m. ET. The event preshow "Countdown to WWE Backlash" begins at 5 p.m. ET. The 2025 event will take place at Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The event can be streamed onPeacock, but you must have their premium or premium-plus subscription to watch.
